A traditional wedding at St. James the Greater
When I walked into the church that would serve as Veronica and Renzo's ceremony space, I was in absolute awe. The grand ceilings, the light streaming in through the high windows, the endless rows of wooden pews- it all came together to create the most stunning setting for their traditional Catholic ceremony.
There is something about the Catholic wedding mass that is so special to witness. In today's day of modern weddings, the ceremony can feel like such a minor part of the day, with the focus being on the party, the dress, the flowers- but Veronica and Renzo's ceremony was so intentional and was the perfect reminder of why I love capturing weddings!
After their ceremony, we explored the nave and got the most jaw dropping portraits of the two of them, utilizing every angle of this beautiful church. Later, we headed over to their reception hall, where sparks flew!
